Time, space, and responsibility

Singapore Democratic School is a primary and secondary school that offers no homework, exams, or curriculum. We allow our students aged 5 to 18 the time and space to pursue their own interests within a student-led democratic community.

What if children were in charge of their own learning?

A time-tested model with more than 100 years of history, pioneered by schools such as Summerhill, Sudbury Valley School, De Ruimte, and hundreds of other democratic schools.
